We will be honouring the collector, dealer and art critic Wilhelm Uhde (1874-1947) and his impact on the history of art. As Picasso's very first buyer in 1905 and Sonia Delaunay's first husband, he was one of the art lovers who pioneered Cubism. He also fought for the recognition of modern primitives, organising the first exhibition of Douanier Rousseau.
