This book brings together the works of these two artists, both of whom questioned the profoundly renewed representation of the human figure. From their earliest works - in the late 20s - to those of the late 50s, an artistic dialogue nurtured by a friendly relationship was established, ending in 1959 with the death of Germaine Richier.
