ABOUT

This first exhibition, to be held in January 2026, will be dedicated to works from the 1950s and 1960s, with a particular focus on the Black and Gray and Rome series, accompanied by a catalogue featuring an unpublished text by Pierre Wat, art historian and critic. This event will mark a new step in the rediscovery in France of one of the major painters of postwar American abstraction, whose work—both sensitive and structured—resonates with the major currents of American modernism.
