ABOUT

Galerie Dina Vierny welcomes Sandra Benhamou on rue Jacob for an exhibition conceived as a series of correspondences between design, decorative arts, and major works of the 20th century.

An interior architect and designer, Sandra Benhamou composes a fragmented, multifaceted portrait of the female figure, unfolding across ages, textures, and lines. Her intervention enters into dialogue with a selection of works from the collections of Galerie Dina Vierny and Galerie Chenel, brought together around an unprecedented version of the Dolly armchair, created in collaboration with Passementerie Verrier.

The exhibition takes its title from the Surrealists Jeu de Marseille, with its play of shadows and signs which, like its sirens and genies, breathe at the heart of a world at war through love and dream.

Works by Aristide Maillol, Henri Matisse, Robert Couturier, On Kawara, Judit Reigl, Serge Poliakoff, Camille Bombois, and Jean Degottex are presented, alongside a selection of pieces designed by Sandra Benhamou.
