As part of the 7th edition of the Photo Saint-Germain festival, the Dina Vierny Gallery and the Le Minotaure Gallery are presenting a joint exhibition featuring a selection of works by the artist Nina Mushinsky.

"The collection of paintings and photographs functions as a story of my own life and the lives of the people who are part of it. Isolating the images draws them into a black hole, annihilating and illuminating them at the same time. I observe, inhabit, and penetrate various environments that at first glance seem unrelated. They all possess something of a spectacle. In my hands, the prominent members of these communities almost miss being leaders or iconoclasts and become icons in their own right. I subject myself to the repeated presence of these individuals, becoming both vulnerable and resistant to their influence. I aim for constant love and devotion. Ultimately, I love them as humans; and then they die! They form a culturally diverse group. I met many of them in my hometown. The photographs blur the lines between theater and real life."
